I support Mike Pearce because he is exactly what we need in Austin. Mike has the integrity and Christian values that are need for public office. I have worked directly with Mike as a coach and teacher, he displayed the moral character that was need by the students he taught and coached. He has served his country as a marine and will serve this state with the same value & honor as he did as a marine. Please join me in supporting Mike Pearce as our new state representative.

I support Mike Pearce because I truly believe him when he clearly and eloquently states his positions on all the issues with well researched and thought-out answers. Furthermore, Mike’s answers and solutions to the issues do stand up to scrutiny when examined under the microscope. I have heard Mike in a debate with the other candidates and Mike is the only one who answers questions with “I believe that what we need to do is….and I will make this happen when I get to Austin.” The others give “Ross Perot type” answers such as, “I think this is a serious issue and I will work hard to get a committee to take a look at this problem.” It is also obvious to me that Mike is the best choice when the candidates are contrasted in the local newspapers and Mike’s sections on the issues are filled in completely with no white space left over and every word is important; not fluff or filler. Actions are what is needed, not committees. Mike Pearce is man who is at the tip of the spear where the action happens, not the one in the back holding the shaft .

I am endorsing Mike Pearce because after attending four forums, it is evident that his broad knowledge far exceeds the others candidates.
He stands out as the only candidates who will stand firm against the Trans Texas Corridors. He is the only one who has been against the TTC and put it in writing from the start. Ralph Sheffield says he in against the TTC "in its present form" or "current concept". Friends, that could change with the wind. This is his way out if he is feeling pressured by whomever. Martha Tyroch says she has roots in East Bell County, loves the people and the land out there. So where has she been in the fight against the TTC? As a board member of the Blackland Coalition, fighting now for over four years against the TTC, I never once remember Mrs. Tyroch offering her help to us in any way, or speaking out against it. I do know she was hand picked to be on the TXDOT advisory board. John Alaniz, who I consider a fine man, two months ago stated that he was not sure where he stood on the TTC and was still studying the issue. I have not been convinced that he is against it.
On the issue of border control, Mike was the first one who brought up the idea of mirroring Oklahoma's House Bill 1804. The other two gentleman did not seem to know much about it. And Martha Tyroch was very against it stating her reasons why in one forum. Then in the next forums, they all seemed to think it a good idea. In fact it seems to me that over the course of these four forums all the candidates have followed Mike's lead in much of what he believes. What a supper sign of a leader when you can get even your competition to change their minds.
I have been very impressed that Mike will stand up and boldly state his views even if he feels it is unpopular with the audience he is speaking to. He believes with a passion what he believes. No speaking to one group what they want to hear and then something else to another. No printing out flyers to a certain area what they want to hear and another set to a different area.
I could go on and on but I think my space is used up. In short then, I believe Mike will be best to preserve the kind of Texas I want for my grandchildren.

Voters in House District 55 have a tremendous opportunity to vote for Mike Pearce, an extremely qualified candidate. It is rare to find one candidate who has such qualifications. He not only espouses conservative values on both social and economic issues, he has put them into practice by serving our great nation as a U.S. Marine, teaching our children in public education, and putting America's free market principles to work as an entrepreneur.

Being an ex Marine, Mike understands the necessity of secure borders and will not be intimidated as a freshman representative in Austin. Mike has researched the issues that concern all Bell County tax payers and will wisely represent all of us, not a select few.

I want to endorse Michael Pearce for our District 55 Representative. I know his background in government will be such an asset for our county. He has served our country as a Marine and that determination to make a difference for our county and country is there. Being an educator I feel he has great concern for the betterment of education. He wants vocational education back in high school and this is so necessary. Being an independent thinker with leadership qualities I support Michael and certainly hope he wins.

Even though we live outside Bell County, we realize that the way Texas Representatives vote impacts all of us Texans. My husband and I support Mike Pearce for District 55 Texas State Representative because he is a true conservative. He is not going to compromise important conservative principles by casting them aside in order to "play politics." Mike is articulate, honest, well-educated, and clear-minded. He is exactly the kind of person we Texans need in the Legislature.

I support Mike Pearce because of his integrity and no frills attitude. He tells it the way it is and is not your ordinary politician who hem haws about the issues. Mike works to the voice of the people and is one of the people. Mike will be a great political leader, as he was a great history teacher.

I first met Mike Pearce during the 2004 Presidential Campaign when we worked together on the board of Catholics Against Kerry (CaK). Mike was a tireless warrior. It was mostly through Mike's hard work that CaK was able to shine a light on the Democrat's real agenda. As a Texas State Representative, I am certain Michael Pearce will always make you proud you voted for him.

I endorse Mike Pearce because he is a man of integrity, and stands for all the values that made our country great, and that we need now more that ever in these troubled times. He will bring honesty and hard work to government.
I know him well because he was a student of mine several years ago at the University of RI, where excelled in the philosophy courses he took with me.
He is a true leader and statesman, not a "politician" of the kind that abounds today. I recommend him enthusiastically.

While no longer living in District 55, I still promote the election of Mike Pearce for several reasons. One is that I know where he stands on the issues. Another is I know he has researched his views since he clearly expresses data and resources for those views.
His strength is therefore in offering clarity, not necessarily agreement, about the difficult issues facing us today. As we should appreciate, when there is clarity there is a better understanding of what parts are and are not "agreeable" among individuals. Then, the real work can begin on the differences.
Mike offers this clarity based on learned knowledge and skills from his professional careers in the military and teaching high school. As a former military spouse and a retired school principal and teacher, I confess this background makes Mike the most attractive candidate for me for District 55 representative.
In essence, I appreciate that Mike is not a "feel good" candidate for personal needs. He is a "do right" candidate for the greater good of the whole society.

As a teacher, it is hard when the Texas Legislature is in session wondering what nonsensical rule they will pass. With Mike's years as a teacher, I know that I can trust him to work for education and not against it. That is why I support Mike Pearce. Mike is a strong conservative who will apply a common sense approach to legislating. I hope you will support Mike as well.

I am endorsing Mike Pearce for State Representative in District 55 because of his dedication to conservative principles and his personal leadership abilities. Mike has worked in public education for many years and, through this experience, has determined what policies will work best to educate our children, and not simply fund our education bureaucracies. Mike has the right ideas to empower the individuals of HD 55 to continue to succeed and flourish through free enterprise, while addressing the important issues that face us.

Loyalty, integrity, discretion, morals, and character are the key attributes of a true leader. Encase that in “family” and you have just described Mike Pearce. I trust Mike. I know him and have supported him from the beginning. I encouraged him to run for state representative because I wanted a bright, vibrant and energetic young conservative with the maturity of an elder statesman. I wanted him to have the longevity to serve this district and Texas for many years to come. I wanted my candidate to possess the leadership attributes that could catapult him to greatness. I wanted my legislative district to be in good hands. I know that’s asking a lot in any one individual, but I found it in Mike Pearce.

A vote for Mike Pearce is a vote for integrity, honest government, and strong conservative values. As a former Marine, he understands the issues of veterans and as an educator Mike Pearce is committed to providing our children with a quality education. Mike Pearce is by far the most qualified candidate to truly represent the voices of Bell County in Austin.

I am a retired soldier living in Bell County. I am a decorated combat veteran and lifetime member of the DAV of Harker Heights. I have owned property and maintained a residence in this county since 1988. I am a professional school teacher and have known Mike Pearce since 2001. There is no other candidate in the race for District 55 representative who speaks so clearly to the issues facing Central Texans today. Mike Pearce is honest, direct, conservative, and impassioned. He is the only logical choice for District 55. I wholeheartedly endorse Mike Pearce and encourage everyone to do the same.
Frank A. Hammond

I wholeheartedly endorse Mike Pearce as our State Representative for District 55.
For years we have complained about not having a Representative in Austin that was willing to work for us and address our needs in District 55. In this election we have Mike Pearce asking for our vote and campaigning for that office. His choices in life, demonstate to us that he stands tall and proud in defense of his country and its Constitution. His past also assures us he will do exactly what he says he will do because he has demonstrated the integrity and moral compass needed for the job. He is exactly the person we have been waiting for.
On March 4, vote for the man who will represent us in Austin...vote for Mike Pearce.

While attending a Republican Candidate Forum in Temple, it should have been obvious to most that Mike Pearce was THE ONLY CANDIDATE that was able to articulate in a straightforward manner a consistently conservative approach to politics.

I want someone in Austin who is going to work for ME, and hold the line when it comes to my values.

Mr. Pearce fits the fits the profile without exception.
